| Alright heres the deal.I usually use OC as my moisturizer. But I noticed I still had some motions left.I couldn`t remember the results of motions but I knew OC worked better.I wanted 2 use motions one last time.So I did my usual method but I used motions instead of OC.Next morning when I took off durag half of my waves were gone.I looked in my handheld mirror and my connection was gone.My hair was looking straight even though its not.I`m on week 7 of wolfing.Does anybody know why this happened? Are all my waves gonna come back?Has anybody had a similiar problem? | |

| This is an excerpt from a previous post. - Death to Wave Methods
The density is created by the dirt and the products that you put in your hair. These substances bind with hair and make a strong bond giving you the illusion of a tight pattern. Certainly you have waves but the products and dirt are boosting its appearance. When you wash your hair, you are removing the dirt, oil etc that is actually holding your waves in place. So what you see most often is density. When you remove density, you see hair that lacks definition. The problem is that you have grown accustomed to looking at your hair when it is weighed down by products in an artificial state versus its natural state. | |

| It sounds like there still in there. I would try shampooing your hair with a med to hard brush. Ive found the best way to measure true progress is after you was ur hair because like terp said those products can have you seeing a pattern that aint really there. Ive fell for it myself a few times. | |
