Newbie Help (Cut braids After 8 years) (Pics Included)

Cut my hair last saturday (7/18) after having braids for 8 years. I shower brush everyday I wash my hair every 2-3 days and i condition every day. I dry brush 30-45 minutes a day (3-4 times a day) and I brush using the H20 method twice a day. Any tips or methods would be greatly appreciated

keep brushing,waves don't come in just like that, put work in. Brush like your addicted to it and you'll get there. check out the noob lounge it should answer your questions

I know about the the newbie lounge but i was wondering if you guys could give me tips or a method to follow for my specific hair texture. I find a method and I try it and then i'll see antoher method that sounds and switch to that one.

You only need to make one post.

Just brought 3 new brushes Diane 8167 (Soft) Diane 8118 (Med) Annie 2116 (Hard). With my texture and length should i use the soft brush or the med? Shower brush with the hard brush right?

Well since you`re probably a straight waver u need to wolf longer than most wavers.About 8-12 weeks.Use a soft brush and a medium.U dont wanna make ur hair even straighter with a hard brush.When u get it cut get like a #3 or #2.5.Always keep ur hair at a high length to allow visible waves and for your waves to develop.KEEP BRUSHING!!!!

you seem 2 be serious about waving just keep at it
keep wolfing and brushing and you'll see progress sooner than you think

you shouldnt shower brush every day because
it can lead to hair loss or hair breakage
and its looks like we might have the same text
so you can pm me for anymore info and its looks
like your hair is thin if so get some goo dro
and also you dont need a method all you need to
do is brush moistirise and durag
