PostSubject: Brushing is Obvious   Fri Jul 03, 2009 10:47 pm

so ive been brushing for awhile (i made a post a couple days ago about me coming from braids to waves), and everything is startin to turn out good. i have alittle ripples here n there....
but im noticing that when i brush it leaves a line in my head where my crown is suppose to be...looks like i had surgery o somethin. so when i brush you can clearly see i brushed down on the sides, back in the back, and foward on the top. is this normal when your first starting out, am i brushing wrong, or do i need to just let my hair grow out some more?

if i need to show yall a pic just tell me n ill have it up asap.

I feel you my dude. I just had to laugh about the line in the crown looking like you had surgery. You trippin.

As a suggestion, you might want to consider brushing your hair in the mirror turned around backwards with another mirror in your hand. That way you will be aware of which strokes are causing the line.

You may also want to consider using a small palm sized brushed to work that crown area. The smaller brush will give you more control. The brush might be about four inches long. It is literaly not larger than the palm of your hand. They have them at the beauty supply store.
