RANK... Why does everyone want it?

It's been brought to my attention that people are concerned over the ranks on here... So lemme go ahead & put this out there....

#1 Rank is something that is earned not asked for. I never asked to be Admin. My reputation from WB carried over & I was just made Admin. I feel like you should never ASK, if you're really worthy it'll come to you. I understand a lot of people were GS's & SS's or whatnot on WB... That's cool, BUT THIS IS NOT WB. I never asked to be GS or SS on WB, I just did what I thought was right. WB comes along and makes a promotion here & there & everybody is happy. They don't care what happens to the site, all they care about is what color their name is. To me that is selfishness...

#2 A lot of people come to me about being promoted. Some in joke, some in seriousness. But like I said in #1 I don't award rank based on "coolness". I'm cool with just about everybody. So does that mean I'm supposed to make ERRYBODY a Mod? Most of you may think I promoted Kamie b/c he's my homeboy. Well that is untrue. I promoted Kamie b/c A) He put in work. He was right along wit me PMing niggas on WB, lurking on noobs, and screaming "Support the movement". B) I know he's mature enuff to handle it. C) He's active. Some niggas log on once a month and make a few posts & think their somebody. I'm on this bitch just about ERRY day & so is Kamie. I've got other people in mind, Elite Spinna prospects in mind, but we need more time & more SUPPORT.

#3 You want rank? Put in work. WB awards useless rank to pacify niggas. GS's or SS's don't really have any powers, it's just a ploy to shut niggas up. Help us snatch noobs off there. Post teasers to make the activity pop. Add the Myspace page to your friends list & inform your buddies. Make new threads on here. Give suggestions to things we can do to make progress. But don't cry about "I don't have no rank on here" b/c you didn't earn it. If you want a meaningless color to your name then maybe Slavebuilder is for you. This site will never die again b/c there are 2 or 3 niggas that fully support the movement & will always be on here. Niggas that you think are your "e-buddies" are only concerned with themselves. So if you like flashy colors and bullshit rank then go on back to WB. But when WB comes up missing again & niggas start posting that gay porn don't come running back over here... *drops mic*

nd specially for the younger ones power is everything
nd plus most of the niggaz with rank are popular among the site nd people be feelin like they got exclusive stuff even if they cant do a damn thing
like the gs on WB niggaz like darican nd jayrock wen he was a gs

:roflmao: 4 real. thats all it is, u ask anyone new to da site they'll tell u the same stuff. HELL im not even gonna lie when i first started WB i was FEEnin to become a GS or some Nex high ranking. but soon when your waves start lookin nice, u tend to dont care.

word to that.....i use to want to be a GS so damn bad....now it literally nothing to me....im still a virgin on the infraction game.......but what was wierd to me is when i use to be a post whore and drop alot of knowledge i wasnt even reconised for it so when i just sat back and relaxed and focused on my self rather than others....im reconised more.....idk i just dont get it btw its just a color beside your name and most people arent man enough to handle it

i look at it like this....if holliday makes u a mod and i caome to u and ask u a question. u should be able to answer that question or at least know how to git the answer. if u cant whats the point of u being a mod. is not the rank that makes u on here. its what youve shown in the game and ur knowledge. and ill go even further to say ur attitude. because noobs such as myself lookat well damn, these niggas dont even appreciate me or want me to learn over here so im gonna go somewhere else....not what we need. i dont think pp really understand how big this can git. i was lurkin on wb far a min,but it is NOTHING like this spot.

alot of ppl on Gumbuilder use to mash on noobs about some of there questions
but if you think about it thats the only way there going to learn and pass down

People just like a title. If you're a better status than most other people you feel you're greater and more important. But when you think about it if you want a higher rank for these reason you dont deserve it. It's all about hard work, earning the rank.
