I'm in my 6th week of wolfin. Started using pomade to get my hair to lay down. Should i still brush throughout the day after using pomade?

do what you feel homey if you wanna do it naturally then just brush brush brush
but if you feel you need a lil assistance then ain't nothing wrong with pomade
even thou im jus beginning im tryna do it without the use of pomade
i brush and lay it down using the dub c prison bag method and then oc and durag & wave cap that keeps my shit lay down flat

i've tried murray, Gumbuilder deep wavy, and 360-style. so far 360-style seems to work best. i've heard that dax in the orange can is good too.

360 style is pretty good. It has decent hold, shine and is water soluble. Some of the thicker pomades repel water thus making it difficult to wash them out. It goes on easily and feels like butter.

I used to use the deep waves pomade as well but as I got deeper into wolfing campaigns it didnít work as well as I would have liked.

I am not familiar with Dax in the orange can but I have used the old reliable Dax wave & groom in the red can. It was thick and I didnít find it the easiest to apply. Portions of my hair would look like a "cow lick" while others would be aight.

Thicker pomades may require heating for a few seconds in microwave or using a blow dryer during application to help the product to be spread evenly.
