so todays my third week i think they comin in alright now, im goin for 7 weeks but i dont think ima last that long.
any advice for my sides i think that they look like they are going to go straight, instead of actually connectin wit my top

how many wolfin sessions have you been doing. Im fairly knew but i noticed even myself theres nothing special for sides most people struggle with a particular side. and you will ONLY notice progress and your hair grows

You got pretty str8 hair wolf long and dont get a low cut

7 weeks isn't enough for your text. your hair curls at a higher lenght than the average waver.

so u think i should go longer than 7? im only doin that cuz school starts in 4 more weeks where i live

Trims save progress. Actual haircuts may reset progress if your waves aren't deep enough. Wolfing isn’t for all but trims are an alternative. You are able to have a clean manageable look while attempting to deepen your pattern.

Connects come with correct hand positions and time. Hand positions become implicit muscle with a lot of practice. Brushing your hair in a mirror really helps. You can identify which strokes are connecting the sides to the back and the top to the sides.

It will feel awkward at first but with practice you will not need a mirror anymore. Figure out the brushing pattern that works for you and stick to it. Most people use a 45 degree tilt to connect. If you are bushing in the same pattern consistently, connects will come

yea thats how i brush my sides. i dunno though the back of it seems like its starting to curve more, where they actually gonna connect so i guess ill just have to see how it turns out in a bit

Yeah I feel you. Just be patient. As your hair gets longer during a wolfing episode, you can correct some brushing problems if you need to. Its probably ok. If you utilize the mirror and see major problems, its cool just adjust and keep it moving.

but i changed the picks wit sum better 1s, more clear n my hair laid down better after i put a lil pomade in

I'm sure you know this now but i just want to reiterate that with your text you should not be getting that low of a cut from now on.
you'll see better results with trimming...try to stay consistent with the way you brush. changing it up alot will set your progress back.

yea everybody been sayin it got cut 2 short, i did get a #2 tho, its jus it sounds like a #3 or so is leavin 2 much on

your text shouldnt need any pomade cause u have fairly straight hair. I see when ur wolfin ur hair got a little unmanegable but just du rag that up for a while and it should be laid down nicely

Good progress. My those side go at n angle insted of down. the connection will look better.

Well since you`re probably a straight waver u need to wolf longer than most wavers.About 8-12 weeks.Use a soft brush and a medium.U dont wanna make ur hair even straighter with a hard brush.When u get it cut get like a #3 or #2.5.Always keep ur hair at a high length to allow visible waves and for your waves to develop.KEEP BRUSHING!!!!

Not tryna threadjack but when u like post ur signature in ur posts how do you make the letters larger.Becuz like I be seeing post that when they letters in their signatures they be like 5 times my size.

and yea spinningaml, ur allowed to change the font of ur text and bold it and stuff

they gon come back better, lay off on the product, use a little bit of pomade or thick greae ex indian hemp or supergrow just enough to prevent dryness, and wolf and brush for weeks on end, then around week 7 cut it to a 1.5wtg and do it all over again, get a lineup every 2 weeks it will help u stay motivated and tell the barber to take the hair off the top of ya ear so its gon look like a fresh cut while u wolfin

Aye, you don't think he'll lose some progress if he got that low of a cut with his text? I think he might wanna stick with a 2.5 until he get his pattern in right.

yea i think a 1.5 would b a lil 2 low for me. Ima probly get a 2.5 next time
