| That product is very thick. You may have to follow the instructions on side of the can to maximize the absorption of the pomade.
One method is to lightly warm the pomade. This will aide you in spreading it throughout your hair. A secondary option is that your put a warm towel on your head to lay down your hair prior to application of the pomade.
The pomade will easily lay down the strands of hair that are trained. The resistant strands require more training with that brush. Pomade is only a supplement to highlight hairs that you have trained. It does that job. The untrained hair will pop-up like a dandelion in the yard.

| yep the same happens to me every now and then. its just letting you know that those hairs aren't trained yet. try using a lighter layer of pomade when you apply it... but really, it highlights those hairs that arent trained so you need to punish those areas with ya brush (hard, med, then soft) and rag up. | |

| Brush you hair more often. Concentrate on that one side of your hair that sticks up.
Waves form by constant brushing..
Waves won't form unless hair is trained to lay
Hair won't lay unless it's brushed.
But like the peeps above said, try warming it, using the hot towel.
Oh!! Have you tried using a harder brush when brushin hair with the pomade in?? That may help too
