ok skinny bastards looking to get bigger/stronger/faster let me introduce u to the one thing that i can promise you will "git R'done". its by world renown Strength and Conditioning coach Joe Defranco, called "west side for skinny bastards", so if your under 160.....try it out

Check out his stuff- all of its good especially the article and ask joe sections. Get to know the site if you want to get good at football (or any other sport for that matter) Alot of people come here asking for a football routine and a lot of people suggest his stuff. He has a few templates and items to choose from here is a quick review:

Westside for Skinny bastards 1: If you are under 160lbs this is for you. You will get stronger than hell, gain some size and new muscle for sure. GREAT program for the off season.

WS4SB 3: I skipped two, but i will mention it next. ws4sb 3 is the same as the first only more advanced. It is a 4 days split with more isolation work (since you built a monster foundation with ws4sb 1) This is another off season workout for the bigger, more experienced crowd. The dynamic lower day helps you stay explosive while packing on the mass.

ws4sb 2: The Need for Speed. This template is for both types of trainees. When its getting warm out-and football season is approaching it is important to keep getting stronger but also be in the best condition you can be in. The strongman training is great for explosiveness and the energy system training accommodates your body for football conditioning. This template helps turn your new strong self into an explosive freak.

STRONG MOVIE: I like it even though it is short. Very inspirational and make you lift with a new intensity when you just not feeling it in the gym. Pricey for what you get but if you have the means...pull the trigger.

12 week Combine E-Book: Excellent to have! Rotating the lifts is confusing... the ebook has all the weeks preplanned for you. You can use it for both templates, just take out the running/40 training. Good ideas on Superset combinations as well. Dont buy it. Ask me and ill send it to you for free. PM

Super Strength: Eh, very good at the time it came out- now its info everyone knows via Joes website. WAY overpriced.

Training Logs: PM me and ill show you how to get access to his training logs of real clients, not on his website so dont look too hard!
Much of my training is straight from Defranco the rest is from original westside (Bench and Squat specialists)

Subscribe to my log and i will somehow note what days are exactly set up like defrancos days AND how to make them if they arent.

Before 6 months of WS4SB
170lbs
185x2 bench
315x1 Squat
Barely tough the rim of bball hoop

After 6 month
191 lbs(massive food intake, yet abs got more defined) back down to 170's since im not playin ball anymore

345x2
500x2 parallel box squat
545x2 inch above parallel box squat (just looks cool, not very smart)
Dunk Vball in bball hoop after 20lb weight gain

Got accused of steroids lol but had very strict, high calorie, nutrient timed diet
Understood that more doesnt mean better, trained Defranco Style and turned into a freak (compared to what i was, pretty average if not below average for a d.1aa college ball player)

this is the best workout program u can get if u dont have a personal trainer/coach.....so yea bigger stronger faster....and if u a SKINNY BASTARD hence the name then u should try it out
