I never really thought of using it for hold because its so soft, but if it works for you then great. I sometimes use it for moisture and shine, but i do notice that it holds down loose hairs. How do you deal with that scent?

Spray some Pink Oil sheen over it. It does have a pretty ugh smell to it.
